Briefly on our stack:

We’re are an Upwork Enteprrise customer looking to partner with a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in Vue.js and Laravel. You’ll be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving scalable web applications with clean architecture and solid testing coverage. The ideal candidate understands both frontend and backend systems deeply, writes reliable code, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

We’re not looking for someone who just completes tickets and disappears. We want someone patient, curious, and invested in the long-term quality of the codebase. Someone who asks questions, thinks through edge cases, and is genuinely interested in improving codebase, user experience and overall product quality - not just getting the feature done, but making sure it’s working correctly after release.

Typical Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js on the frontend and Laravel (PHP) on the backend
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate closely with other developers, product manager and team lead to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
• Refactor and improve legacy code with an eye for scalability and maintainability
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker environments
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussion
• Use Agile tools like Azure Boards, or similar to stay aligned with the team

Ideal Candidate Background:
• 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer
• Strong knowledge of Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, and MySQL
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of both RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Someone who is communicative, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and code quality

Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architecture
• Background in performance tuning and database optimization
