Does this relate to you?
- 5+ years experience in IT projects testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details
- Strong understanding of the web software principles and test experience with web applications
- Strong experience with manual testing of the mobile applications for the different platforms (iOS and Android)
- Experience with cross-browser testing
- Experience with REST API testing (e.g. Curl, Swagger, Postman, Fiddler, Charles)
- Experience with creating clear test documentation: test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports
- Experience with test estimations using different techniques/methods
- Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, and approaches
- Experience with different software testing types (Functional, Integration, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, etc.)
- Understanding and experience with non-functional testing
- Ability to analyze functionality, determine key test scenarios, tricky situations, and possible failure point
- Understanding Software Development Lifecycle and QA team processes
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail
- Experience with Jira
- Good communication skills
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Ability to work till 12:00 MST (21:00 Kyiv time), and attend relevant meetings during that time.
Nice to have:
- Experience with process improvements
- Basic UI/API automation skills using any programming language
- Experience with QA metrics design and collection
- ISTQB certificate
This is a trans healthcare project that offers gender-affirming services for 1 million transgender individuals in 47 states.
A new team member will be in charge of:
- Manual test cases creation and execution using various test scenarios
- Communicating with developers, product designer, and other team members
- Clarifying requirements with in-house stakeholders
- Reporting and tracking bugs
- Participating in a scrum environment (stand-ups, planning sessions, refinements, etc.)
- Doing root cause analysis to escape defects and investigating issues coming from support
- External Beta test members support
