Business Analyst (Discovery Phase)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support the Discovery Phase of a cutting-edge AI-powered
project. The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, and
design leads to gather and define requirements, validate the project's scope, and ensure all
documentation is aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, including clinicians and
technical teams.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional and non-functional requirements.
Define user journeys, workflows, and use cases for both internal and client-facing components
(e.g., iPad app).
Support the design of the Human-in-the-Loop system by documenting expected feedback loops
and outcome tracking.
Collaborate with the Solution Architect and UX Designer to ensure requirements are technically
and practically feasible.
Evaluate and document dataset usage guidelines and clinical relevance.
Prepare and maintain high-quality project documentation including:
o Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
o Use Case Specifications
o User Story Mapping
o Contribution to the Software Requirements Specification (SRS)
Participate in stakeholder meetings and document meeting outcomes.
Identify potential risks, dependencies, and business constraints during the planning stage.
Assist in the preparation of the implementation roadmap and phase-by-phase breakdown.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Business Analyst in software or AI/ML-related projects.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, preferably in healthcare is a plus.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments.
Proficient in requirement management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, or similar).
Ability to write clear, concise, and structured documentation for technical and non-technical
audiences.
