Full-Stack JavaScript Developer (Next.js / Nest.js / Gatsby.js / PostgreSQL)

Smart-UI is a boutique web development team delivering complex front-end and back-end solutions. We’re looking for a skilled Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join us on two upcoming high-load projects. One project involves a Gatsby-based frontend, and the second combines Next.js with Nest.js for frontend and backend respectively.

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: Next.js, Gatsby.js, React, Tailwind CSS, SCSS, TypeScript

• Backend: Nest.js (Node.js), REST API

• Database: PostgreSQL

• Tools: Git, Docker (optional), Vercel/CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain performant frontends using Next.js and Gatsby.js

• Implement responsive and polished UI using Tailwind CSS and SCSS

• Develop scalable back-end services with Nest.js and PostgreSQL

• Collaborate with the team in planning, reviews, and delivery

• Follow best practices and clean code principles

• Ensure high quality through testing and careful attention to detail

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with React/Next.js and Node.js

• Solid experience with Gatsby.js and server-side rendering/static site generation

• Strong knowledge of Nest.js and RESTful APIs

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and query optimization

• Advanced skills in Tailwind CSS and SCSS

• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and detail-oriented development

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results

Nice to have:

• Experience with GraphQL

• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows

• Ability to contribute to architectural decisions
