Practical ML engineer Offline
Our client - a global leader in maritime security - is seeking a Practical Machine Learning Engineer to join their team on a project-based assignment (3-4 months). This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your ML expertise to real-world challenges in a high-impact industry that protects global trade and logistics.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying ML solutions with a focus on computer vision and object detection. Your work will contribute directly to enhancing safety and automation within critical maritime operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.
- Deep expertise in Machine Learning, including hands-on knowledge of key algorithms and frameworks.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Practical experience with computer vision, specifically object detection techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement ML solutions that solve real-world, end-user problems.
- Experience deploying and optimising ML models in production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing multi-model (ensemble) ML solutions for enhanced prediction accuracy and system robustness.
