Machine Learning Engineer Offline

Samsung R&D Institute Ukraine is looking for a passionate and collaborative Deep Learning Engineer to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will participate in full-cycle research and development task relates to image processing, on-device input events processing, and sketches generation.

Solutions in areas: image processing, signal processing, handwriting, artistic input and other human-computer interaction scenarios.

Responsibilities:

•     Deep learning approaches design & implementation
•     Build and optimize image processing and signal processing pipelines
•     Research, train, evaluate, and improve existing deep learning models for sketches and images
•     Implement from scratch novel NN architectures
•     Develop strategies for creating, collecting, and assessing datasets, including synthetic data generation

Major requirements:

•     Be up-to-date with novel deep learning researches
•     Be able to design deep learning architecture
•     Strong programming skills Python
•     Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
•     Solid understanding of mathematics and linear algebra
•     Experience of developing training pipelines from scratch
•     Experience of building data preprocessing pipelines (outliers detection, denoising, splitting, etc)

Will be a plus:

•     Expirience with novel LLMs and content generation architectures
•     Master/PhD in Computer Science or related field
•     Experience with low-resource datasets
•     Experience in ML models deployment on Android (TFLite)
•     Awareness of Android application development (Java, Kotlin)
•     ML/DL contests achievements (e.g., Kaggle)
•     Experience and interest in academic research, papers
