Position: 2D VFX Animator (Slot Game Development) 

Location: Ukraine, Kyiv; Poland, Warsaw / Hybrid(Office/Remote)

Role Summary: The 2D VFX Animator will be instrumental in conceptualizing and executing advanced visual effects that not only embellish but fundamentally enhance the player's experience with our slot games. Collaborating closely with a cross-disciplinary team, the role demands a blend of creative flair and technical prowess, ensuring that all VFX assets are optimized and aligned with the overarching game theme and mechanics. 

     Core Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and deliver sophisticated 2D visual effects tailored for slot game applications, utilizing industry-standard software and methodologies. 
• Engage in rigorous R&D to conceptualize VFX that complement game narratives, mechanics, and UI/UX design principles.
• Perform technical optimizations of VFX assets to ensure seamless performance across diverse hardware platforms. 
• Integrate visual effects within game engines, adhering to best practices in asset implementation and version control workflows. 
• Conduct iterative refinements based on team feedback and user testing data, employing a data-driven approach to VFX adjustments. 
• Maintain abreast of emerging trends and technologies in game development and visual effects, with a focus on applications within the slot gaming sector. 
• Contribute to all phases of the game development lifecycle, offering technical expertise and creative insights to enhance game quality and player engagement. 
  
  Qualifications: 
• Demonstrable expertise in 2D VFX animation, specifically within the slot game domain, evidenced by a comprehensive portfolio. 
• Mastery of VFX creation tools such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Spine, with an emphasis on efficiency and quality in asset production. 
• Prior experience in a game development studio environment, with a deep understanding of the game production cycle, particularly in the context of slot games. 
• Strong foundation in animation principles, graphic design, and digital art, coupled with a capacity for creative problem-solving. 
• Proficient in game engine technologies and VFX integration techniques, with familiarity in scripting and automation processes beneficial. 
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary team setting.
