Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D animations for characters, symbols, UI, and effects in Spine
• Prepare and rig assets for smooth and optimized in-game animations
• Collaborate closely with artists and game designers to ensure the animations fit the game’s visual style and gameplay requirements
• Iterate on feedback to refine animations and improve their impact
• Work with the development team to implement animations in the game engine
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions to propose fresh animation ideas and visual effects

Requirements:

• Portfolio with examples of animations (Spine projects preferred; student or educational works are acceptable)
• Strong understanding of timing, spacing, and animation principles (squash & stretch, anticipation, follow-through, etc.)
• Experience with Spine 2D
• Ability to work with layered PSDs and prepare assets for animation
• Creativity, attention to detail, and readiness to learn new techniques
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
   

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Adobe After Effects or other animation/VFX tools (e.g., Animate, DragonBones, Toon Boom)
• Knowledge of particle systems and FX animation
• Experience in the gambling industry (slot or casino game animation)

Main requirements:

• Passion for creating games

Descriptions:
We’re looking for a 2D Spine Animator to create animated graphics for online slot games - characters, backgrounds, UI elements. This is a startup-stage project, where your fresh perspective can truly define the artistic direction. You’ll have real influence - on the style, the product, and the final result.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in character and in-game animation for online slots;
• Advanced proficiency in Spine 2D (minimum 2 years), Photoshop, and After Effects;
• Strong understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling;
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities:
1. Create and develop animated graphics for online slot games: characters, backgrounds, symbols, and UI elements using Spine 2D;
2. Prepare and export assets as needed (slicing, packaging, optimization);
3. Build skeletons, set up weights, work with the timeline, and create texture atlases;
4. Manage slot animations (switching images, toggling elements on/off);
5. Configure export settings for different technical requirements;
6. Collaborate closely with artists and developers to ensure smooth integration of animations into the game;
7. Actively participate in creative tasks and bring new ideas to the table.
 

Will be plus:

• Familiarity with the gambling industry and its visual trends;
