General Manager / Engineering Manager (Golang, Infra, AI Services) for Corvex

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable, production-grade Golang services supporting inference, fine-tuning, and model instance management
• Architect the system for multi-tenant deployment, performance, and secure API-based access
• Lead initial engineering execution while building and mentoring a high-performing team
• Own critical pieces of infrastructure and deployment, leveraging GCP-native tools and services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Guide platform integration with AI/ML model lifecycle tools, including model loading, versioning, and post-training workflows
• Collaborate with leadership on product roadmap, hiring, and operational scaling — including helping establish a regional hub or office

• Work hands-on across technical domains: networking, infra, auth, observability, deployment, and CI/CD

   

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Golang experience, ideally in systems-level, infrastructure, or backend API development
  Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — services like GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, IAM, and monitoring
• AI/ML infrastructure knowledge — including model inference workflows, containerized model serving, and integration with open-source or proprietary model systems
• Experience designing API-first systems, with attention to developer experience, performance, and scale
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams — hiring, mentoring, and defining team structure
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve and responsibilities span multiple functions
  Bonus: experience with private cloud deployments (OpenStack, Kubernetes on bare metal, etc.)
