Upwork Bidder / Lead Generation Specialist

We're currently looking for a Proactive Upwork Bidder / Lead Generation Specialist to help us land new projects on Upwork by identifying high-potential jobs and submitting winning proposals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Upwork daily for new job postings relevant to our tech stack and industry niches
  • Write customized, persuasive proposals that align with client needs and highlight our value proposition
  • Qualify leads and filter out low-value or irrelevant projects
  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare accurate quotes and estimates (when needed)
  • Maintain proposal templates and help us iterate/improve messaging
  • Track and report KPIs (bids sent, responses, interviews, deals closed)
     

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience with Upwork bidding
  • Intermediate written English
  • Experience working with agencies or B2B service providers
  • Strong understanding of how to personalize proposals and stand out among competition
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and results-driven
     

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Upwork analytics, filters, and saved searches
  • Ability to handle client communication during early stages
  • Familiarity with development, MVPs, and common tech stacks (e.g. Ruby on Rails, React, Python, etc.)
  • Experience using GigRadar
