Upwork Bidder / Lead Generation Specialist
We're currently looking for a Proactive Upwork Bidder / Lead Generation Specialist to help us land new projects on Upwork by identifying high-potential jobs and submitting winning proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Upwork daily for new job postings relevant to our tech stack and industry niches
- Write customized, persuasive proposals that align with client needs and highlight our value proposition
- Qualify leads and filter out low-value or irrelevant projects
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare accurate quotes and estimates (when needed)
- Maintain proposal templates and help us iterate/improve messaging
- Track and report KPIs (bids sent, responses, interviews, deals closed)
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience with Upwork bidding
- Intermediate written English
- Experience working with agencies or B2B service providers
- Strong understanding of how to personalize proposals and stand out among competition
- Independent, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Nice to Have:
- Experience using Upwork analytics, filters, and saved searches
- Ability to handle client communication during early stages
- Familiarity with development, MVPs, and common tech stacks (e.g. Ruby on Rails, React, Python, etc.)
- Experience using GigRadar
