Sloboda Studio is a Ukrainian IT company with 15 years of experience turning ideas into impactful solutions for clients in Europe and the USA. We started as a small, close-knit team and have grown into a dynamic community of over 100 talented professionals united by a passion for innovation and collaboration. Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a proactive and passionate professional with enough experience to take on multiple outstaff projects while maintaining a fresh and dynamic approach. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling new challenges, and is eager to grow alongside our team.

Responsibilities:

— Building and maintaining long-term, fruitful and reliable partnerships with clients, utilizing excellent communication skills to achieve win-win relationships

— Foster and implement account management practices across company (e.g: share recommendations with internal team)

— Retain talent (nurture developers loyalty, wellbeing and performance to ensure high-quality delivery)

— Analyze, evaluate and understand clients’ business objectives and provide strategic proposals

— Upselling new services

— Collaborate with other departments to improve customer service

— Utilizing productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other relevant platforms to manage client relationships, track progress, and enhance workflow efficiency.

Required skills:

— 2+ years of account management

— Practical experience in IT field is required

— Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, SaaS-based products

— Client-focused solutions experience

— Strong theoretical and technical background in project and release management, development of policies and procedures

— Communication, analytical, and presentation skills

— Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret customer needs and handle their expectations

— Hands-on experience in planning, executing, successful delivery, requirements and risk management

— English — Upper-Intermediate

Qualification:

- Capable of working on both the backend and frontend, seeing features through from start to finish.

- Comfortable with full stack Rails development and familiar with the latest Rails technologies (e.g., Rails 7, Turbo).

- Skilled in performance optimization techniques for both backend (e.g., database query optimization, background jobs) and frontend (e.g., efficient rendering, reducing re-renders).

- Experience working with real-time broadcasting features, understanding the challenges and solutions related to real-time data updates and user interactions.

- A pragmatic approach to testing, focusing on key areas while balancing the need for rapid development.

- Thinks holistically about the product, not just the code, and has a strong understanding of the product’s business needs and user experience.

- Able to wear multiple hats and contribute to different aspects of the product, from customer support to feature development.

- Comfortable working in a small team with a high degree of independence and trust.

- Effective communicator who can collaborate with both in-house team members and freelancers.

- Open to learning and using different tools as needed.

- Experienced with various front-end frameworks and libraries, adaptable to new and evolving technologies.

Skills:
- At least 1 year spent working on Rails 7 apps
- Frontend framework: Stimulus.js

- Curiosity to work with leading AI systems.

About 

We advise many of the world’s leading Private Equity and Growth Equity funds on Technology & Product Due Diligence. We bridge the gap between technology, product, and real-world business challenges. Our secret is our in-house developed workflow software for project management, to augment our findings with data-driven insights, and B2B SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

• As a software engineer, you will work on bleeding-edge products that aid the workflow of our consultants and clients alike.
• We run on the latest version of Rails, and make heavy use of Hotwire as well as third-party API integrations.
• As part of a small team, you will also have the opportunity to shape both our tech stack and the products we build with it. This means not only writing code but also pitching ideas for features, improvements and technologies that can help take our product offerings to the next level.

Requirements

• You have at least demonstrable experience building production-grade apps with Ruby on Rails, with ideally at least 1 year spent working on Rails 7 apps specifically.
• You also have experience with, or a willingness to learn, the key technologies that underpin our apps:
  • Frontend framework: Stimulus.js
  • UI: Tailwind CSS
  • Database: Postgres
  • Curiosity to work with leading AI systems.
• You have a growth mindset. You see the opportunity in being an early-joiner at a dynamic, fast-growing organization with a global track record.

• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• You are self-organized and can contribute fully remotely (we no longer have an office).

— Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial viability

— Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, implementing contingency plans when needed

— Address complex problems as they arise, making informed decisions to guide projects toward successful completion

— Identify opportunities for project growth, promote Sloboda’s additional services, propose additional resources, and initiate upselling and cross-selling opportunities

— Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer service
