Senior API Tester Offline

Job Description

• Experience creating automated API tests using a code-first approach in Java or similar languages. E.g. RestAssured, Karate.
• Ability to integrate automated API tests into CI/CD pipelines such as BitBucket or TeamCity. Using tools/approaches such as Docker and Bash scripting.
• Experience with tools such as Postman and Curl for API discovery.
• Experience with Karate is a plus.
• Set up automated reporting capability for API tests embedded within CI/CD pipelines. Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana is a plus.
  
   

Job Responsibilities

• Working with product design with our full-stack team of developers and a product manager.
• Preparing test scenarios and feature acceptance criteria.
• Writing automation tests for backend APIs.

• Documenting test processes and results.

   

Department/Project Description

We are looking for an API Tester for to join our Software Engineering team. Our client is one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world. The work would be creating performance tests for APIs and WebUIs. This supports migrating a mainframe system into Java APIs and updating the existing Web Applications to point to these new APIs. It is a great chance to become a part of a distributed, cross-functional team based in Poland. This Project is a part of the Multi-Year Program Plan.
