Senior React Front-End Engineer Offline

Team in UA is seeking a senior front-end engineer to join our team working on a project for a major US video hosting and streaming company. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, hands-on, and results-oriented engineer to shape the design and architecture of a product with a large user base.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven record of building complex, interactive, beautiful, consumer-facing front-end applications. He or she should possess the following experience and skills:

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience as a front-end developer
• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with HTML / CSS / Sass, Web APIs, Webpack, W3 standard. Experience with Utility-first CSS Frameworks like Tailwind CSS
• Experience with React / NextJS + Redux or MobX
• Experience with Rest API
• Experience with git and GitHub workflow
• Ability to write high-quality code on time
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine
• Familiarity with Enzyme or React Testing Library
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player. Willingness to work as part of a team and follow the project management guidelines
• Good written (and ideally some verbal) communication skills in English
  
   

Value-Added Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science
• Experience leveraging Firebase for real-time communication 
• Understanding of principles of media technologies (audio, video, streaming, etc.)
