Senior React/SharePoint Engineer Offline

DOOR3 is seeking Senior React/SharePoint Engineers to contribute to the development of enterprise-grade SharePoint intranet solutions. You will work on building custom site experiences, dynamic webparts, and integrating third-party services into scalable digital workplaces based on SharePoint and a specialized customization layer on top of it.

Location: remote from Europe.

What You’ll Do

• Develop modern SharePoint Online solutions tailored to client needs
• Create and configure custom page layouts and webparts aligned with business objectives and branding guidelines
• Build and maintain React-based components for dynamic UI and system integrations
• Use SharePoint Framework (SPFx), canvas controls, and custom scripts for interactive webparts
• Apply advanced styling and theming techniques to ensure accessibility and consistent branding
• Integrate with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Planner, Outlook) and external SaaS APIs
• Work within the SharePoint App Catalog, deploying and configuring components via the customization layer
• Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and client stakeholders to deliver functional and visually polished experiences
• Follow best practices in code quality, accessibility, and design system compliance
• Contribute to technical discussions and help define implementation strategies

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of building SPAs.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Understanding of core CS concepts: data structures, cohesion/coupling tradeoffs, asynchronous vs concurrent code, event-driven vs imperative styles, etc.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles and experience in their practical application.
• Good knowledge of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS) and popular libraries (e.g., react-query, SWR, CSS modules).
• Experience building UI controls without relying on third-party libraries.
• In-depth understanding of React core concepts and lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of frontend and backend communication protocols (and ideally the networking stack in general).
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, including SPFx webparts and site customization
• Ability to work with third-party SharePoint add-ons or customization frameworks
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for deploying frontend applications and SharePoint components

Nice to Have

• Experience working with data gateways or hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
• Familiarity with enterprise compliance standards and secure data handling
• Previous work in consulting or agency environments
• Experience with Fluent UI and/or prior exposure to the SharePoint customization frameworks
