About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior React Native Developer to help us build and maintain our mobile application. You'll be a key contributor to the development of our core product, working closely with a nimble team of engineers and product designers. This is a contract role with an initial 3-month commitment, with strong potential for long-term work. We particularly encourage women and individuals passionate about women’s health to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of a React Native mobile application using Expo
• Build performant, scalable, and intuitive features with a deep understanding of mobile UI/UX
• Collaborate with design and product to translate wireframes and requirements into robust mobile experiences
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical bugs with minimal oversight
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

• Participate in planning and decision-making in a small, highly efficient team environment

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development
• 5+ years of experience with React Native
• Strong proficiency in Expo
• Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
• Ability to work independently and drive projects from start to finish
• Excellent communication skills in a remote, distributed team environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AWS services
• Experience with Node.js backends or APIs
• Previous experience working in a FemTech or health-focused product space

Compensation

This is a monthly contract position. The exact rate will depend on experience, availability, and scope of involvement. A minimum commitment of 3 months is required, with the intention to continue the engagement for the long term.
