System Administrator (Linux) – Warsaw (On-site)

We are a product-based company developing our own high-load platforms in the  iGaming industry. Right now, we are looking for a System Administrator (Linux) to join our team in Warsaw. This is a full-time, in-office role with a long-term perspective.

 

We are looking for a professional with 3+ years of experience in system administration who is ready to take responsibility for infrastructure reliability, security, and scalability. Youʼll be involved in building and maintaining server systems, automating routine tasks, managing networking and virtualization, and supporting business-critical services.

 

What youʼll do:

 

  • Maintain and monitor Linux-based infrastructure (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL-based  distributions)
  • Set up and manage services: NGINX, mail servers (Postfix/Dovecot), DNS, DHCP, iptables/firewalld
  • Manage and monitor storage (LVM, ZFS, NFS, backups)
  • Write and support Bash scripts for automation
  • Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (Proxmox — clustering, backups; ESXi, HA Proxmox (is a plus)
  • Use Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • Configure and maintain networking infrastructure, especially MikroTik (RouterOS)
    ◦ VPN connections
    ◦ Dynamic routing
    ◦ Firewall rules
    ◦ General routing and network segmentation
  • Support Docker-based services (basic knowledge required)

 

What we expect from you:

 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
  • Solid knowledge of:

      Core Linux services: NGINX, DNS, DHCP, mail servers      (Postfix/Dovecot),  iptables

      Storage and filesystems: LVM, ZFS, NFS, backup and recovery strategies

      Bash scripting for automation

      Virtualization platforms: Proxmox (clustering, backup), Proxmox ESXi (HA –nice to have)

      Docker: general understanding and usage

  • Practical experience with MikroTik (RouterOS):
    ◦ VPN configuration
    ◦ Static and dynamic routing
    ◦ Firewall rules
    ◦ Network segmentation and diagnostics 
  • Experience using Ansible for configuration management
  • Independence and proactivity in solving infrastructure-related tasks
  • Strong sense of responsibility and clear communication
