Senior Business Analyst (Fintech Product) Offline

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our fast-growing Fintech product team. This is a hands-on role involving deep engagement with complex business logic, REST APIs, data modeling, and system analysis. You will be responsible for translating high-level business needs into detailed requirements, diagrams, and process flows while working closely with cross-functional teams.
 

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Proven experience in formalizing business and system requirements for development teams.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
• Hands-on experience using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or ApiDog — ability to execute API requests and analyze request/response structures in JSON format.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or any SQL-based DBMS), including data types, joins, and writing simple queries.
• Experience in creating UML diagrams (e.g., Activity, Sequence) using tools like Miro.
• Basic knowledge of BPMN and experience in visualizing business processes.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for task management and documentation.
• Familiarity with Figma — ability to navigate designs and understand interface logic.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and security.
• Familiarity with software integration patterns and authentication methods (JWT, OAuth).
   

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear documentation for development.
• Create and maintain requirement specifications, system diagrams, and process flowcharts.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA to align business needs with technical implementation.
• Analyze and validate REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or ApiDog.
• Build and maintain UML/BPMN diagrams to document flows and interactions.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from discovery and design to testing and release.
• Proactively suggest improvements to product features, system design, and documentation.
• Support cross-functional teams with clear communication and requirement clarification.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Fintech domain or projects with complex business logic.
• Understanding of microservices and client-server architecture.
• Experience forecasting system behavior and designing scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI Specification and designing data models for APIs and storage.
