We’re hiring a Senior Backend Developer to join the US product team behind a SaaS marketing platform for the Big Pharma sector.

📍 General Details

• Leading US-based agency specializing in doctor–pharma communications
• Custom web development, new products, SaaS development.
• International team, primarily based in the United States:
  • Project and Product Managers
  • Design Team
  • Dev Team
  • Devops Team
  • Data Team
• Schedule: 16:00 – 00:00 Kyiv time.
• Start: ASAP or up to May 10th
• Duration: 3–6 months
• Contract: Full-time (40h/week), $25-35/hour
• Platform: Mac/Linux preferable
  
   

🛠️ Technical Stack:

• PHP API Development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
  • Able to efficiently translate legacy PHP code into modern, optimized PHP APIs
• Laravel API Development
  • Deep experience with Laravel for API development
  • Proficient with routing, controllers, middleware, authentication, and service providers
  • Solid knowledge of Laravel Eloquent ORM, query building, and database migrations
• Security Best Practices
  • Solid understanding and consistent application of security best practices
  • Experience with API security, encryption, authentication, data validation, and sanitization
• MySQL & Database Design
  • Strong understanding of MySQL concepts including schema design, indexing, and relational database management
• JavaScript & React
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript features and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with React, including functional components and hooks

🔹 Will be a plus, but not obligatory

• WordPress Development
  • Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Ability to maintain and optimize WordPress sites following security and performance best practices
• Node.js
  • Proficient in backend development with Node.js
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with databases
  • Familiarity with Express.js and similar frameworks
• Python (basic scripting)
  • Proficient in writing Python scripts for backend tasks like automation and data processing
  • Bonus: experience building DAGs using Airflow or willingness to learn
• Salesforce Integration experience
