Senior Node.js (AWS)

TemaBit Fozzy Group is an IT company that develops unique solutions for over 40 businesses. We specialize in web and mobile development and software for managing business processes and infrastructure projects. Our projects consist of the development and support of various software products in the following areas: Logistics, E-com, Big Data, ML, etc.

You will play a key role in our engineering team by leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality backend systems and applications. Your expertise in Node.js, coupled with a solid understanding of backend architectures, will drive the creation of scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions. You will mentor other developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of robust applications that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of backend systems using Node.js, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality web applications.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable and efficient solutions.
• Mentor junior and middle developers, guiding them through code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

• Node.js Expertise (5+ years): Advanced proficiency in Node.js ecosystem.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ syntax and features
• TypeScript Knowledge: Skilled in TypeScript for scalable applications.
• Good experience with such frameworks as Express, Fastify, or Nest.js.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases and their integration with Node.js, including ORM/ODM frameworks like TypeORM, Drizzle or Prisma.
• Knowledge of React or other frontend frameworks is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and EC2.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication skills.
