About the Project

This is a long-term data transformation initiative for a major European bank, with a strong focus on Data Quality & Remediation (DQ&R). The ideal candidate will take ownership of the delivery strategy, working closely with Finance leadership and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed team (5–10 people) across Ireland and other locations to ensure high-quality and predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with Finance leaders, peer delivery teams, and cross-bank functions to maintain and drive the Finance DQ&R strategy.
• Partner with the Group Data Office to align Finance Data initiatives with broader enterprise goals.
• Oversee and execute core project plans to provide stakeholders with full transparency.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise IT projects.
• 7+ years working directly with end users in financial institutions.
• 7+ years in leadership roles, with a clear ability and motivation to continue growing in this direction.
• Expertise in databases, SQL, and ETL tools.
• Strong hands-on experience in delivering production-ready systems, ideally in regulated financial environments.
• Ability to manage, influence, and collaborate across onshore and nearshore teams in a matrixed setup.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to coaching and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering outcomes in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Informatica (including IDQ) and Axon.
• Knowledge of BCBS data standards and compliance.
