The Role
We’re hiring a Mobile Architect / Team Lead to take ownership of our mobile architecture, technical direction, and front-end team collaboration. You’ll lead the development of mobile platform using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, ensuring scalable, clean, and efficient code.
You’ll work directly with the CTO to define engineering best practices, guide code standards and patterns across our ecosystem, and collaborate with the executive team on roadmap priorities and execution strategies. The ideal candidate is not only technically strong but also confident in product scoping, cross-functional alignment, and visual communication.

What You’ll Do
● Lead the architecture, design, and development of our React Native mobile apps

● Own the full mobile app lifecycle—from setting up new projects to publishing and maintaining releases in the App Store and Google Play

● Collaborate with the CTO to develop consistent code standards and architecture patterns across the platform

● Work closely with product and executive leadership to scope new features, estimate timelines, align dependencies, and manage technical risk

● Contribute to operational planning—assess resource allocation and ensure feature delivery is aligned with roadmap priorities

● Drive implementation of real-time, location-based, and social features using Firebase, WebSockets, and push notifications

● Establish CI/CD pipelines, OTA updates, and testing automation using EAS, Firebase, and GitHub Actions

● Mentor and support other developers through thoughtful code reviews, pair programming, and structured onboarding

● Be attentive and prepared for meetings with executive leadership, clearly articulating engineering progress, blockers, and options

● Maintain high standards for front-end performance, design implementation, and proactive error handling

What We’re Looking For
● 6–8+ years of professional mobile development experience with a focus on React Native, Expo, and TypeScript

● Strong experience building, launching, and maintaining consumer-facing apps across both Android and iOS

● Deep understanding of mobile architecture, performance tuning, and debugging

● Confident communicator with excellent spoken English and visual communication skills (diagrams, charts, walkthroughs)

● Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executives, estimate and scope product requirements, and align cross-functional dependencies

● Familiar with Firebase, WebSockets, push notifications, and mobile analytics

● Skilled in CI/CD, testing, OTA deployment, and production stability

● Bonus: Experience with native development (Swift/Kotlin), Appium, or backend collaboration

● Self-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about building meaningful products that work at scale
