Product Business Analyst
We are seeking a Product Business Analyst to join our fully remote team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs, data science, and engineering. This role is critical to the development process, helping the scrum team test hypotheses, fine-tune AI models, and analyze HR and workforce data to drive product improvements.
As a Product Business Analyst, you will be deeply involved in R&D processes, including A/B testing, user behaviour analysis, and preparing data for demo and sandbox environments. Additionally, you will act as a Prompt Engineer, constantly refining AI models and working closely with Data Analysts and Engineers to optimize model performance and training datasets.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Business Analyst, Data Analyst, AI/ML Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience in agile product development, working within a scrum team.
- Experience working with A/B testing, product experimentation, and hypothesis validation.
- Hands-on experience with HR analytics, workforce data, and business process analysis.
- Familiarity with AI models, machine learning pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and model fine-tuning.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
Understanding of natural language processing (NLP), AI training data, and model evaluation techniques.
Will be a plus:
- Experience working in HRTech, workforce analytics, or enterprise SaaS.
- Background in business intelligence (BI) or product analytics.
- Previous experience in AI model training, optimization, and human-in-the-loop AI processes.
- Knowledge of data labeling, annotation, and reinforcement learning techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an agile scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
- Define clear and actionable requirements for development based on business needs and user feedback.
- Conduct A/B tests and data-driven experiments to validate business and AI model hypotheses.
- Prepare data for demo and sandbox environments, ensuring high-quality datasets for testing.
- Analyze HR and workforce trends to identify inefficiencies and areas for AI model improvements.
- Generate insights from workforce dynamics and client behavior to enhance AI solutions.
- Optimize AI models through prompt engineering, fine-tuning responses, and refining training datasets.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to improve AI accuracy and performance.
- Test and provide structured feedback on new AI features and NLP capabilities.
- Align business and technical teams on AI enhancements and product improvements.
