2D VFX Animator Offline

Responsibilities:

• Creation of in-game effects from a sketch to final implementation
• Creating animation and effects in After Effects, Spine;
• Follow pipeline and workflow standards and problem solving with Background and Compositing Teams
• Create natural and supernatural effects (ie. water, smoke, dust, lightning, bubbles, fire, storms, shadows, blurs, explosions, etc) which contribute to the scene
• Maintain and communicate a strong knowledge of innovative FX animation technologies
• Work with the game lead and art team to ensure the timely completion of animation assets at the desired quality bar;
• Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews;
   

Requirements:

• Portfolio is a must;
• Strong animation skills;
• Expert in Spine, After Effects, Photoshop;
• 4+ years of professional animation work in games or related industries;
• Ability to animate in a range of styles, from realistic to exaggerated/cartoon styles;
• Teamwork skills;
• Independence.
• Intermediate English proficiency and above
   

Will be a plus:

• Demonstrate a broad range of hand drawn 2D FX abilities in a collaborative environment
• Create hand-drawn, consistent, and stylized FX designs and animation
• Experience in limited, tween, and symbol-based animation;
• Knowledge of classic animation principles.
• Knowledge of the slots-gaming industry;
