Lead / Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Remote (only EU and UK).

As a Lead QA Specialist, you will be key in shaping the QA framework for our clients. You will be responsible for setting up and executing QA strategies, documenting product features, developing and running test cases, and collaborating with the development team. As the team evolves, you will help shift from manual to automated testing practices. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the release of robust and reliable software products, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA processes from the ground up.
• Document product details and create detailed test cases.
• Run tests and report issues to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Guide the team towards adopting automated testing methods as the team grows.
• Participate in code reviews and unit testing activities.
• Keep abreast of the latest QA best practices and tools.

• Provide mentorship and training to junior QA team members.

   

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in leading and establishing QA processes and teams.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in business-level English.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with QA methodologies and practices.
• Previous experience setting up QA processes and collaborating with development teams.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their role in QA processes.
