We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Software Engineer for meinUnterricht - Germany’s leading platform for teachers. As part of our development team in our Berlin office, you'll help shape the future of meinUnterricht - working on a product that helps thousands of teachers prepare their classes each month.

OUR TECHSTACK

• React/Redux
• Node.js based RESTful backend (HAPI, Mongoose)
• MongoDB & mySQL
• AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront)
• Build & Deploy System using GitHub Actions & CodePipeline

YOUR PROFILE
 

• Hands-on experience in developing web-applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScript/React
• Professional work experience in Cloud environments (especially aws), and experience with CI systems, Docker, and Container Orchestration Services like ECS
• Experience building RESTfull apis
• Experience working with SQL and noSQL databases
• Experience using Elasticsearch - or similar technologies
• Experience with different types of automated tests and conducting code-reviews
• You are a team player with great communication skills who is eager to learn new technologies and bring about changes process and technology
• You are open to work in pairs or mobs, discuss ideas with others and solve problems flexibly
• You perform and deliver without supervision, in time, with high quality, and proactively communicate about progress, challenges and success.
