Middle Business Analyst Offline
The purpose of the Fintech project is to create and maintain banking platforms. Users are bank employees, which is about 10,000. The platform is used to serve bank clients who would like to invest their money in one of Canada’s largest banks.
This role will play a key role in building the right foundations for a scalable self-serve data platform and continuous enhancements of self-serve tools and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience from 3 years.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining artifacts for business analysis.
- Workflows, Data flow diagrams, Data Mapping documents, User Journeys, etc.
- Experience writing and running SQL queries to extract and analyze large data sets.
- Competent in managing JIRA and SharePoint projects, boards, and workflows.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- English level from B2 (Upper-intermediate).
Responsibilities:
- Elicit and analyze business requirements and create detailed documentation and artefacts such as flow diagrams (process, data, sequence diagrams etc.), compose user stories, HLRs, business rules, use cases etc.
- Support the team in scrum processes, planning and executing projects — user story mapping, backlog grooming, prioritisation and delivery.
- Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders, ensure that requirements are well understood, identify dependencies and integration points, and troubleshoot issues.
- Understand existing application flows, system architecture, upstream/downstream integrations, and business rules.
- Develop knowledge and become a subject matter expert on self-serve platforms, supporting development of the application roadmap/solution design.
- Participate and assist with business testing, ensure coverage of functional/non-functional requirements.
- Inclined to learn new technologies, grow with every project & contribute to the team’s success.
- Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and an analytical mind.
