UI/UX Designer for Design Agency to $3200 Offline

We are seeking a Freelance Web UI/UX Designer who is comfortable taking on multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment, and will be responsible for spearheading design efforts for select projects in close collaboration with our clients. What responsibilities will you have?

• User-Centered Design: Create and implement innovative UI/UX designs across web and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Wireframes & Prototypes: Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and design mockups using tools such as Figma.
• Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure design feasibility and deliver pixel-perfect implementations.
• Client Interaction: Communicate design rationale and ideas to clients, gathering feedback and iterating on designs accordingly.
• Responsive Design: Design responsive websites and applications that provide an optimal experience across devices.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure designs align with the client's brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
• Research & Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions, iterating based on feedback.

What skills are we looking for?

• Design Tools Proficiency: Expertise in design tools like Figma.
• Web Development Understanding: Solid understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
• SEO and Paid Marketing Expertise: A lot of our clients run paid ads to their sites, so high ranking and high converting design is of essence.
• UI/UX Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing intuitive, user-centered digital interfaces.
• Responsive & Interactive Design: Strong grasp of responsive design principles, interactivity, and modern web design techniques.
• Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, in an Agile environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to clients and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to design detail, from typography to layout to color schemes.

An advantage would be:

• Interest and enthusiasm in emerging AI trends.
• Experience working in a startup environment where rapid change is common.

Specifics:

• Looking for part-time/hourly work, with the opportunity to go full time (we have a pretty packed project pipeline so far).
• Availability to work a portion of US Eastern time zone hours (ideally 4+ hours per day).
• Qualified applicants will undergo a screening process, followed by one round of interviews before receiving an offer.
• Looking for an ASAP start, with a notice period of 7 days.
