Middle QA Engineer (General) to $3000 Offline

As we continue to grow and expand our portfolio, we are seeking a skilled Middle QA Engineer (General) to join our team.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing and 2+ years in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright (min. 1 year); knowledge of Cypress, Selenium is a plus.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking (e.g., Jira).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools.
  • Ability to create test reports and metrics to assess product quality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a distributed team.
  • Upper-Intermediate English level or higher, both spoken and written.

    Will be a plus:
  • Proficiency in performance testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter.


    Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
  • Analyze test results, document defects, and provide comprehensive feedback to the development team.
  • Design, and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality releases, ensuring maximum test coverage.
  • Perform various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, and exploratory.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through issue-tracking systems, ensuring clear communication and follow-up with developers for resolution.
  • Contribute to test strategy development and improve QA processes by suggesting and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and developers to understand business requirements, translate them into high-quality technical solutions that meet those needs.
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices, and promote continuous learning and self-development within the team. Mentor other team members, providing guidance and sharing your knowledge.
  • Contribute to the agile development process by participating in scrum events, and driving towards a cross-functional, collaborative work environment.
  • Development and maintenance of a high-level engineering culture within the team.
