Movadex is looking for a talented Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our team and help build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly websites. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up website cloud infrastructure, developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, integrating third-party services, and ensuring seamless frontend and backend functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Build custom WordPress themes, following best coding practices.
- Assess technical feasibility of business requirements to ensure efficient implementation within given timelines and budgets.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times, SEO best practices, and overall stability.
- Integrate WordPress websites with third-party services (CRM, social auth, payment gateways, analytics, marketing tools).
- Manage website hosting, cloud infrastructure, version control, and DNS settings.
- Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility for an optimal user experience.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and support for existing WordPress solutions.
- Collaborate with designers, quality engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong expertise in WordPress (ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg), PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and Git.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SEO optimization & analytics tools (Yoast SEO, Google Analytics, XML sitemaps, Hotjar).
- Proficiency in responsive and cross-browser development.
- Experience in multilingual & localized content support (e.g. WPML)
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce plugins, contact forms, validation plugins, and CRM integrations (e.g., Contact Form 7, HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp).
- Experience in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS Lightsail, Hostinger, GoDaddy) and working with servers (cPanel, WHM, CLI)
- Experience with Git and version control systems (Github, GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and debugging.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and distributed teams.
English proficiency: Intermediate or higher (for communication and documentation).
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools (e.g., WP Rocket, Cloudflare, Varnish).
- Knowledge of headless WordPress development (WP REST API, Next.js, React).
- Experience with automated testing for WordPress (e.g., PHPUnit, Cypress).
