Senior Technical Writer

Project Description:

 We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create, edit, and maintain documentation for a Data Warehouse project. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management, with excellent writing skills to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.

Requirements:

- 5+ years as a Technical Writer in the IT industry, preferably in data warehousing or big data projects.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines, SQL, cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP),reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), AirFlow + AWS Redshift.
-  Strong ability to produce structured, concise, and technically accurate documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data analysts, and product managers.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word, or Git-based documentation systems.
 

Responsibilities:

-  Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, ETL processes, system architecture, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to gather and clarify technical information.
- Create user guides, training materials, and best practice documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation aligns with industry standards and is easily accessible and navigable.
- Update and revise documentation as systems evolve and new features are introduced.
- Utilize tools such as Confluence, Markdown, or other documentation platforms to manage content efficiently.
