Position Overview
As a Technical Writer, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our technical teams and customer Admins and end-users. Your primary responsibility will be to create clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for our cloud-based products and services, ensuring that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand and utilize our solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain user manuals, admin manuals, implementation guides, API documentation, knowledge base articles, and other technical materials for our cloud software products.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to understand product features, workflows, and updates.
- Translate technical jargon into concise, easy-to-follow content for a diverse audience, including system administrators, developers, and business users.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company style guidelines, industry standards, and accessibility best practices.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, prioritizing deliverables to align with product release schedules.
- Leverage tools like Zendesk, or CMS platforms to publish and manage content effectively.
- Continuously gather user feedback to improve documentation clarity, usability, and relevance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a cloud software or SaaS environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong written command of English.
- Ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Zendesk, Confluence, JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of basic software development workflows (e.g., APIs, CI/CD pipelines).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
