Backend QA Engineer (High-Load Telecom Project) Offline

We are looking for a Backend QA Engineer to join our high-load telecom project. This role primarily focuses on testing backend systems and requires extensive experience working with databases.

Your qualification:

• 4+ years of proven experience as a QA engineer with a focus on the backend side
• Strong knowledge and real practical experience with API testing
• Experience with performance testing (Jmeter)
• Experience in Linux/UNIX command line
• Experience with SQL DB and SQL requests
• NoSQL DB (Cassandra)
• Kafka message broker
• Experience in writing test documentation (test plans/test strategy/test cases/bug reports)
• Ability to work with TCP dump using regular tools like Wireshark or similar
• Practical skills with Git
• Basic automation skills (Java + Postman) is a plus

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of TCP, HTTP, and SMPP protocols
• Understanding of client-server and microservices architectures

• Confident knowledge of testing methodologies

General:

• Higher technical education or other relevant experience
• Ability to work in a fastpaced Agile environment in tight collaboration with a development team
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment, readiness to learn in the direction of automation
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• English is spoken and written at the intermediate level or higher
