MySQL Administrator

To thrive in this role, we’re seeking candidates with at least 5+ years of experience as a DB Administrator and a strong background with MySQL spanning at least 3+ years. Your proficiency in migrating on-premises databases to the cloud will be highly advantageous in this role. 

About the project  

Multiple .Net and ASP CORE projects that require migration, technical or functional upgrades, maintenance, and support. The primary domain is the customer recognition platform. 

Requirements:   

• 5+ years of experience as a DB Administrator, working with MS SQL and Azure Data services. 
• Proficiency in MySQL administration. 
• Hands-on experience in migrating on-premises databases to the cloud. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. 

  
 
Responsibilities:  

• Migrating all legacy on-premises databases to the cloud. 
• DBA support. 
• Configure MySQL on a virtual machine in Azure. 
• Write scripts to automate database synchronizations, including data and schema changes. 
• Independently analyzes, solves, and corrects issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. 

Team: Senior Full-Stack .NET dev, Senior Manual QA, BA, PM 

Schedule: 5/2, 8-hour working day (40 hr per week), flexible schedule.
