Technical Lead

We are Bypass media buying team, and we are looking for a technical specialist who would dive into our current business processes and structure their technical side: automate workflows (related to working with servers, domains, and creating advertising campaigns), optimize existing technical resources, and introduce new technical solutions.

 

 

I. Tasks

Development and Optimization of Technical Infrastructure:

  • Setting up and maintaining tracking and analytics systems (e.g., integration with trackers like Binom, BI tools).
  • Optimizing technical processes related to media buying and campaign management.
  • Creating and maintaining internal tools for automating media buying processes (namely servers and domains configuration, campaigns creation, etc.).

 

Automation of Workflows:

  • Developing and implementing scripts for automatic data loading, processing, and analysis.
  • Automating data integration processes between different platforms (e.g., advertising systems and analytical tools; tracker and CRM).

 

Quality and Performance Control:

  • Ensuring the stability and performance of all technical systems, including servers, and integrations.
  • Analyzing and resolving technical issues that arise during media buying team operations.

     

Integration with External Systems:

  • Setting up integration with advertising platforms, traffic sources, and external services (domain registrars, CloudFlare, hosting providers, cloaking services, etc).
  • Developing and maintaining API interfaces for interaction with other services or advertising platforms.

 

Collaboration with Other Teams:

  • Collaborating with media buyers to understand their flow, needs and provide technical support.
  • Working with COO and co-owners to implement new features.

 

 

II. Requirements

Programming (must have):

  • PHP, JavaScript: Experience in developing automated scripts, integrations, and systems for data processing.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript: for creating and maintaining user interfaces, tools, and dashboards.
  • SQL: Ability to work with databases, write complex queries for analyzing advertising campaign data.
  • API Integrations: Knowledge of RESTful APIs, ability to set up and work with APIs to integrate different systems (advertising platforms, analytical tools, etc.).

 

Analytics and Tracking Systems Work Experience (nice to have):

  • Experience with tracking systems (e.g., Binom, Keitaro, Voluum, RedTrack, BeMob) and advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
  • Knowledge of pixel and tracking tag principles (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager) for proper event tracking setup.
  • Data Handling (nice to have):
    • Knowledge of big data processing and working with analytical tools.
    • Experience with Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau for visualizing and analyzing advertising campaign results.
    • Ability to conduct A/B testing and optimize processes based on data.

 

Process Automation (must have):

  • Experience in writing and implementing automation scripts to speed up workflows (e.g., automating domains configuration, campaigns creations, data loading).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) principles for automatic deployment and testing of changes.

 

Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies (must have):

  • Experience working with cloud services and virtual machines for scaling and load management.
  • Knowledge in network security, data protection, and privacy.

 

Management Skills:

  • Ability to create technical documentation and specifications for the team and track progress.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams:
    • Ability to work closely with marketing,  and operations teams to optimize their processes from tech side.
    • Ability to convey technical details to non-technical specialists such as managers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

    • Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues related to advertising systems, tracking, and automation.
    • Ability to find optimal technical solutions for complex business problems.

     

    III. Terms:
