As a System Architect at PwC’s Managed Data Services, you will design and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. This role requires expertise in software architecture, data engineering, cloud platforms, and a strong grasp of best practices in security and compliance. You will create both high-level and low-level designs aligned with business goals and technical feasibility, driving innovation and success through complex problem-solving, POCs, and reusable frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop C4 architecture models using tools like Structurizr, PlantUML, and Mermaid. Create High-Level and Low-Level Designs and define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct POCs and explore new technologies. Lead in coding, particularly in C#, using advanced design patterns.
- Ensure architectural consistency across teams and collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, and other technical teams. Provide guidance and maintain reference architectures.
- Identify technical risks, draft technical documentation, and ensure system compliance and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in C4 modeling and tools like Structurizr, PlantUML, and Mermaid.
- Proficiency in programming languages (C# preferred) and advanced design patterns.
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms, particularly Azure.
- Proven ability in POCs, framework development, and technical innovation.
- Understanding of DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies.
- Prior experience as a System Architect, with 2+ years as Tech/Engineering Lead and 5+ years as Developer will be a plus.
