Data Lead – Database Accuracy - Process Improvement

Booking Agent Info is the leading platform for accessing contact and deal data in the entertainment industry. Our database powers connections between talent, brands, and industry professionals. Data accuracy is at the core of what we do, and we are looking for a Data Lead to take ownership of our data management processes, training, and quality control.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Lead to oversee our data accuracy, optimize processes, and improve training for our data team. This role is critical in ensuring that our information remains high-quality and reliable. You will be responsible for identifying process gaps, training team members, enforcing data quality standards, and implementing automation or validation rules to minimize errors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Data Accuracy & Quality Control – Monitor database updates and ensure entries meet our accuracy standards.
• Improve & Standardize Training – Create structured training modules, documentation, and knowledge checks to ensure all team members are properly trained.
• Implement Data Validation Processes – Develop checklists, automated validation rules, and review steps to minimize errors.
• Manage & Optimize Data Entry Workflows – Identify inefficiencies in the current data entry process and implement improvements.
• Track & Report Data Errors – Establish a system to track mistakes, identify patterns, and enforce accountability.
• Assist with Hiring & Team Development – Help identify strong candidates and ensure new hires are set up for success.
   

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data management, quality control, or database operations
• Strong background in data accuracy, validation, and process improvement
• Experience in training team members and creating structured documentation
• Familiarity with data entry best practices and workflow automation
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
• Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume data environment
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
   

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience in the entertainment industry or contact databases
• Knowledge of HubSpot, Asana, or other CRM/project management tools
• Ability to implement automated data validation rules
