Requirements:

  • Proven experience in recruiting freelancers, preferably in content writing, academic writing, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of freelance platforms, sourcing strategies, and recruitment pipelines.
  • Ability to assess candidates based on portfolios, test assignments, and interviews.
  • Familiarity with hiring processes for remote and international teams.
  • Knowledge of English (B2 or higher).

     

Key Competencies:

  • Recruitment Expertise: Experience sourcing and hiring freelancers, conducting interviews, and evaluating test tasks.
  • Understanding of Freelance Markets: Insight into freelancer motivations, retention strategies, and effective communication techniques.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), recruitment tools, LinkedIn, Upwork, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to track and analyze key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, retention rates, and performance quality.

     

Responsibilities:

  • Actively source and attract new freelance authors.
  • Screen candidates based on experience, test assignments, and portfolio quality.
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate the hiring process.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new authors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine recruitment needs.
  • Maintain and update recruitment databases.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
