OroCommerce Developer Offline

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced OroCommerce Developer to design, develop, and customize e-commerce solutions, ensuring seamless integrations and optimal performance for our platform

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize applications on the Oro Platform, including OroCommerce and OroCRM
• Design and implement custom extensions and workflows to enhance platform functionality
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Oro-based solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ORO systems and upgrades
• Ensure the seamless integration of new functionalities and maintain existing ones
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system configurations
• Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with team members and stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of projects
• In-depth knowledge of the Oro Platform, especially OroCommerce and OroCRM
• Proficiency in PHP and the Symfony framework plus Doctrine ORM an object-relational mapper (ORM) for PHP.
• Twig: A flexible, fast, and secure template engine for PHP used in the Oro Platform for rendering HTML.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of backend services with frontend components.
• ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Oro Platform customizations and extensions
• Knowledge of B2B eCommerce and CRM systems
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration with frontend developers
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure, integration with SAP)
