Data Analyst – (Tableau Expert) Offline
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company, seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in working with Tableau, building reports and dashboards, and supporting business teams with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Reporting & Visualization:
- Develop and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards to track key business metrics related to transaction activity, approval rates, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Create and optimize data visualizations to provide actionable insights into merchant activities, risks, and billing performance.
- Regularly update reporting templates, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders across departments.
Billing Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze transaction data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities to improve the transaction approval rate and payment solution strategies.
- Collaborate with billing teams to design and improve billing logic and process flows through data analysis.
- Conduct detailed analysis of refund and chargeback trends to provide strategic insights for improving financial operations.
Risk Assessment & Forecasting:
- Build and manage statistical models and forecast reports that evaluate traffic volumes, risk assessments, and acquirer bank requirements.
- Provide data-driven insights to help mitigate risks and improve payment solution performance.
- Analyze historical data and help predict future trends that impact revenue and payment processing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Support, and Analysts to ensure smooth data integration and reporting accuracy.
- Serve as a key partner in identifying data needs and improving reporting processes for stakeholders.
- Assist partners (PSPs) in understanding and interpreting reports to drive decision-making.
Data Quality Control:
- Ensure data integrity by identifying discrepancies in billing logs, transaction records, and other critical datasets.
- Continuously monitor data quality and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with teams to develop more effective workflows for processing and analyzing data.
Documentation & Process Improvement:
- Maintain and update documentation for all reporting processes, analytics methodologies, and data quality standards.
- Suggest improvements to current reporting systems and methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Tableau, SQL, and other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting large datasets and providing actionable insights.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems, billing logic, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and partners.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Preferred:
- Experience working in the financial services or payment processing industry.
- Familiarity with risk management processes and fraud detection analytics.
