Middle Laravel Developer

We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer for a full time remote position (with the option of moving to Spain later if needed).

At Dilizy, we’re transforming the automotive industry with our AI-powered platform that helps dealerships optimize inventory management, pricing, and operations. To enhance and expand our capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, applications and APIs using Laravel.
• Build scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to support AI-driven features and business logic.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of backend systems.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and best practices.
• Proficiency in working with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including query optimization.
• Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis to improve application performance.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles, such as SOLID and design patterns.
• Experience with Docker for local development and deployment processes.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies like Vue.js or React.js is a must have.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Understanding of ML and Gen AI, experience of integrating AI APIs to Laravel applications.
