Web Developer

We are an IT services company based out of San Francisco, USA. ​​We build and acquihire expert engineering and data science teams to help our clients meet their business needs and solve their operational challenges.

We are looking for a Web Developer who will be focused on developing and managing automated systems to extract data from websites for AI automation workflows. This position is critical for working with AI and Data Science teams for gathering valuable data to aid in decision making and product development across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web parsing and extraction of data from various sources.
• Maintain and improve existing web crawlers/parsers to ensure consistent data collection.
• Develop scripts and tools for parsing and analyzing collected data.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Monitor web crawling/scraping/extraction processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with web frameworks like Apify, Scrapy, Beautiful Soup, or Selenium.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Python / PHP, Wordpress a huge plus
