Data Engineer (Python) Offline

Project Descriptions:

• Leveraging an existing platform that implements authorization mechanisms, this project aims to help the organization comply with regulations by ensuring only authorized individuals access regulated data. It also seeks to improve operational efficiency by granting users access only to the necessary tools and information, thereby reducing clutter and streamlining workflows.
• The project aims to enhance our organization’s pricing strategies

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis like pandas and numpy
• Very good knowledge in object-oriented programming concepts (New Framework), data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge in Git
• Knowledge in DevOps (Docker, Bash) à preferable, so that we no longer need to share responsibility between multiple people here
• Knowledge about fuzzy matching algorithms and the Python libraries
• SQL + ORM for future connection to client databases without Excel files
• Development of ETL process with AWS Glue
• Strong sql and data modelling skills

• Awareness for AWS costs

   

Tasks:

• deliver high quality code / write clean, structured and generalizable code that is production-ready / documented and easily understandable code
• debug in a structured manner
• continuously develop and renew the tools created
• implement testing procedures (we don’t have this at the moment but it would be useful for the future)

• collaborate with business and technical teams (possibly also with clients’ technical teams)
