Role overview
Simcorp Dimension Developers will leverage modern tools, techniques, and methodologies to develop, modify, or enhance applications supporting various business and infrastructure units. They will play a pivotal role in leading technical efforts within development teams, collaborating with stakeholders to address business needs and automate processes. Their expertise in Simcorp Dimension DFS/DEX, configuration changes, and data handling will help ensure high-quality application delivery across complex projects.

 

Required skills

  • Proven experience in configuring and developing with Simcorp Dimension, including DFS/DEX and configuration changes.
  • Knowledge of securities, treasury, early funding accounting, and consolidation decision services is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in UNIX, Oracle, and PLSQL required.
  • Understanding of pension fund operations, regulatory requirements, and investment reporting, with the ability to configure Simcorp to meet specific pension administration needs.
  • Upper Intermediate level of English.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners and development team members to define new features, user stories, and requirements for new or enhanced applications, particularly in large and complex development projects.
  • Develop and update detailed technical documentation, including specifications, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and design documents in support of development efforts.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to user stories, development standards, architecture patterns, and
    technical resource libraries.
  • Provide expertise in developing and configuring Simcorp Dimension DFS/DEX, and contribute to resolving production issues with a focus on improving data formats and setups for multiple accounting systems.
  • Lead technical teams in developing solutions, participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, product demonstrations, retrospectives), and drive successful project delivery.
  • Act as a mentor to junior developers and team members, offering guidance on development tools and techniques while fostering best practices in the development process.
  • Continuously enhance development processes by thinking broadly about responsibilities and actively sharing insights for improvement.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Simcorp Dimension with The Client’s pension administration and investment management platforms, aligning with business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with actuarial and financial reporting teams to develop tailored Simcorp solutions for pension fund management and risk reporting.
  • Design and implement scalable, automated workflows within Simcorp Dimension to support investment portfolios, risk management, and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for Simcorp configurations, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory frameworks.
