Senior PHP Software Engineer $$$$ Offline

We are looking for a PHP Developer a very interesting and long-term project for our partner one of the leaders in the fintech segment in Europe. 

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in team-based projects. The role involves agile development, code reviews, and product support. Our candidate should be proficient in PHP, open to using Symfony, PHPUnit, Docker, and have some card integration experience.

One of the largest representatives of the financial sector in Europe whose services services range from a payment gateway for e-shops, a finance management app and money transfers worldwide. With over 1 million app installs and growing, aim to become an industry-leading super app that provides financial and lifestyle services across the World.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a multi-functional, self-organizing team based on Agile principles 
• Participate in the planning, design, implementation and support products 
• Follow and contribute to development best-practices, give and receive code reviews on a daily basis 
• Constantly improve as a developer and a team member, and share knowledge with other team members 

• Expect to perform routine daily tasks using ChatGPT or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity

   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work commercial experience;
• Strong experience with PHP working in a team of developers on complex, sophisticated project or other programming languages (we're still looking for a PHP developer, but it's ok if you're willing to switch from Java, C# or any other language);
• Experience working with Symfony framework, PHPUnit, Docker (would be an additional advantage as those are some of the technologies that we use daily);
• Good knowledge of HTTP protocol and RESTful API design principles 
• Ability to solve complexity with OOP and SOLID principles
• Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.
• А mindset of always combining your code with unit or functional tests, experience in writing unit tests and application code that could be easily tested 

• Fluency in English;

   

Will be a plus:

• Experience working with complex projects in the fintech domain
• Good knowledge of modern PHP and ECMAScript, knowledge of other programming languages.
