Talent Acquisition and Operations Associate Offline

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive individual who can effectively handle recruitment activities and administrative tasks and support various HR initiatives, predominantly in our new talent hub in Porto. As a Talent Acquisition and Admin Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our existing HR team and the C-suite to manage the end-to-end recruitment process and ensure the smooth operation of administrative functions on-site in Porto.

 

Must have:

  • 1-2 years of commercial full-cycle recruitment experience in IT
  • Advanced English (written/spoken)
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience recruiting from Middle to Senior levels
  • Experience in working with various recruiting tools 
  • Proficient in using HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proven experience in recruitment and HR administration.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice to haves:

  • Tech/startup experience
  • Previous full-cycle recruitment experience with Middle and Senior roles
  • Project management experience
  • Client-facing experience, such as account management or customer support

 

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:

  • The full life cycle of recruitment (CV screening, active search by various channels, scheduling and conducting interviews, writing feedback, creating an offer)
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified technical candidates
  • Create a candidate profile for each open position
  • Conduct confidential interviews
  • Provide feedback and updates to candidates promptly
  • Manage candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Create weekly reports for customers
  • Participate in daily recruitment stand-up meetings

 

Our existing team of senior recruiters will be there to support and mentor you!

 

Administrative Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions, including scheduling, correspondence, and office management tasks.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Assist in the adjustment of our existing HR policies to tailor them around the Portuguese labour market and help us implement them as we grow the team.
  • Run the onboarding process as we hire software engineers 
  • Once the team is fully functional, coordinate and support HR initiatives such as training programs, employee engagement activities, and performance management processes.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
