Database Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
— Design and maintain stable, reliable and effective databases in a cloud-based environment;
— Implement ingestion of data from disparate sources (external DBs, APIs, flat files, PDF, etc);
— Establish and adhere to database development and deployment of best practices;
— Provide guidance via code and design reviews for members of the team;
— Assist in developing data APIs to support analytical and AI/ML workflows;
— Create and maintain technical documentation on development processes and code;
— Collaborate with team members to plan and execute in an Agile manner;
— Collaborate with the Product Manager on new ideas and functionality for the product.

— SQL;

— ML/AI.

Qualifications:
— Bachelor's degree in Computer Science;
— 5+ years of database design and development;
— Solid programming experience (Python, SQL);
— Experience working with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server);
— Experience working with unstructured data stores (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, HDFS);
— Experience deploying and managing in AWS;
— Strong communication skills (English).

Will be a plus:
— Full Stack development experience;
— Experience with ML/AI.
