PHP Developer (offline)

The Client: a French passenger transportation company with the worldwide coverage; remote development team seated in France.

The Project: Migration of the existing solution from PHP Monolithic architecture to the microservices; integration of the existing solution with Google Cloud platform; the team members are of a Senior level; business trips to France to meet and work with the primary team are possible.

Expected tasks and responsibilities:
- Produce the high-quality maintainable, efficient and secure code;
- Together with the team deconstruct PHP Monolith as much as possible;
- Build new services and integrate existing (external and internal( services;
- Fix the bugs and optimize the performance.

Primary requirements:
- Google and Stackoverflow proficient knowledge;
- Proven experience with PHP frameworks (Silex, Symfony, Zend, Laravel etc.);
- Experience in software engineering (analysis, architecture, design patterns, unit testing);
- Specialist in OO (maintainable, extensible and testable code);
- LEMP Architecture development experience;
- Testing frameworks experience (PHPUnit, Behat, Atoum);
- SCM knowledge, i.e. GIT;
- PSR-X understanding and Composer experience;
- At least Intermediate English (better to have Upper Intermediate).

Additional requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Symfony 2/3/4;
- Previous experience with Behat/BDD, Doctrine, Redis, Memcache, - ElasticSearch, Capistrano, nginx, bash;
- RabbitMQ message queuing services knowledge;
- CI knowledge (Jenkins etc.);
- HTTP protocol knowledge;
- Experience with other programming languages - Java and/or GO;
- Passion for simple things that just work;
- Strong responsibility for clean code, current software development standards and best practices.
