Senior Ruby on Rails Developer $4000-6000 Offline

Do you want to help us make recruiting better? We're seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to help us build our recruiting platform (see https://instaffo.com). We are an established startup with a working product. We are based in Germany and mainly operate here, but we have an international team running things that we are looking to expand.

Some of our details:

- Responsibilities: Develop and maintain product features in a small, agile team. Prioritize technical excellence with a focus on code base improvement. Collaborate in cross-functional teams, participating actively in discussions and code reviews.

- Tech Stack: Backend technologies include Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, and GraphQL. DevOps handled via GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes with Helm and Terraform. Frontend utilizes React, TypeScript, Sass Modules, and more.

- Our setup: Latest rails version; using rails as api-only. 100% line coverage with specs. Mostly a monolithic application, but also some smaller micro services, especially to integrate with data science team.

- Requirements: Minimum 3 years of Ruby on Rails experience, React or DevOps knowledge is a plus (not required). Familiarity with common Ruby libraries and RESTful API design is essential. Experience with Agile/Scrum and a passion for startup environments desired.

- Team: Diverse team of 25+ members (in R&D, whole company around 75 people) from 14+ nations. We work in small, cross-functional product teams with autonomy to implement features. Agile workflow with two-week sprints and collaborative technical tasks allocation. Fully Remote.

- Application Process: Screening call, technical interview with a take-home assessment task, and then our final interview.
