ML Engineer / AI Solutions Developer (Hybrid - Vienna, Austria) Offline

We are seeking an experienced ML Engineer / AI Solutions Developer to join our partner's team in Vienna, Austria on a full-time basis. This role requires someone with extensive experience in Python development and AI/ML applications. You will work within an existing Scrum-based team and focus on deploying AI solutions and validating ML models for a finance industry client.

Location: Vienna, Austria (Remote work with regular visits to Vienna)

Language: Proficient in English, German is a plus

Experience: 5+ years in software development

Industry: Finance

Technical Skills:

- Strong Python development skills, with a focus on PySpark and ML packages (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch)

- Experience with package development and LLM fine-tuning (not training from scratch)

- Familiarity with Databricks, MLFlow, and Gen AI

- Knowledge of solution architecture for AI/ML projects

Responsibilities:

- Deliver AI solutions on Databricks

- Test and validate ML model workflows (e.g., LlamaIndex)

- Deploy AI and ML use cases

- Implement automated processes for document checking, meeting preparation, etc.

- Provide staff training and create handover documentation

- Monitor performance and provide post-deployment operational support
