QA Test Lead (the candidate must be located in Canada) Offline

We are looking for a QA Test Lead to join our team remotely within Canada. This is a remote contract opportunity offering the chance to join a dynamic team with an Enterprise client. In this long-term contract role, you'll leverage your expertise to lead the testing process and ensure our software meets the highest standards.

Project Duration: Long-Term Contract

You'll be a strong fit if you have:

7+ years of experience in software testing (the domain experience should be 7+ but would need an overall experience of 10+)

Must have proficiency in:

- Cucumber for BDD (Behavior Driven Development);

- API validation (middleware);

- Swager for API documentation;

- Database testing;

- CI/CD pipeline (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery);

- Splunk for log analysis;

- Experience using Jira and PACT for managing test data and contracts;

- Ability to create clear and concise test reports (manual and automated);

- Excellent multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot scripting issues;

- Strong analytical skills to understand user stories and translate them into effective test cases;

- Experience executing test cases and reporting identified defects;

- Ability to review and provide feedback on test scripts created by others;

- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving environments.

A bonus if you have:

- Experience with Selenium for web automation;

- Expertise in Cucumber test case automation with a focus on object-oriented programming and API testing;

- Seniority in Oracle PL/SQL;
